What is Peanut?

Peanut is a stand-alone digital voice application created by PA7LIM David which connects to existing DMR Talkgroup (DMR Plus, HBLink or TGIF), YSF and D-Star Reflectors.

This simple application will allow you to use your AndroidOS 4.x and up phones & tablets to get in the Peanut rooms, which comes in handy when you don't have access to your radio.

What is Peanut?
Peanut is a stand-alone digital protocol that has rooms which are either on their own, or bridged to networks - such as KAPIHAN Network's DMR51547 room.

It was created and is maintained by PA7LIM David. The server hosting the rooms are co-located by David and Ambe Servers used to transcode from protocol to Peanut are local to the room admin's QTH—running on Raspberry Pis or PCs with Unix equipped with DVMega DVStick30 or NW Digital Radio ThumbDV USB sticks with on-board AMBE chips.Continue setup >
